GitDCY keeps source repositories native on each device while reducing repetitive fetch, fast-forward, and private work-in-progress synchronization work. Git remains the transport and authorization boundary; GitDCY does not introduce a shared application database.
The optional LinuxMice integration is read-only. Its machine-readable status uses the common response envelope and deliberately omits remote URLs, work-in-progress object identifiers, and file contents. Sync and mutation stay under GitDCY’s own explicit commands and safety policy.
GitDCY remains independently usable and does not require LinuxMice Hub, LinuxMice Identity, or a shared login.
