lmice is the LinuxMice administration command. The former private pre-release name lmctl was hard-renamed and has no compatibility alias.
Commands follow the memorable lmice <service> <command> shape. Important operations remain scriptable, and structured JSON or YAML output is available where automation needs it. Current surfaces include local inspection, trust, transport, workload, audit, and component catalog/status workflows.
The CLI is independently packageable as linuxmice-cli. A graphical layer may call the same application contracts later; it must not become the only way to administer the system.
