Plugroot is a small Rust self-hosting harness for describing and operating Docker Compose stacks, Git checkouts, systemd services, private listeners, and local dashboards from a public-safe manifest plus separate private state.

It remains a standalone product. LinuxMice may discover it as an optional provider through a versioned component declaration and a minimal read-only status endpoint. LinuxMice does not read Plugroot’s private service inventory, repository configuration, credentials, or runtime state.

Plugroot’s control surfaces are intended for localhost or a private network; they must not be exposed directly to the public internet. Its LinuxMice integration is dogfood work, not a supported enterprise provider claim.
