How work stays coherent

Standards

Small, explicit rules for engineering, documentation, decisions, publication, and open-source work.

Standards turn founder philosophy into repeatable behavior. They should reduce ambiguity, not create ritual. Each standard names an outcome, a minimum record, and the boundary that protects public trust.

These are company defaults. A product may add stricter rules where its risk, customer, or legal context requires them. A durable exception records the reason, owner, consequences, and review trigger.

Precedence

Applicable law and explicit customer obligations come first. Accepted product decisions refine these company standards. Temporary convenience does not silently override either.
