Katteke publishes enough context to make work understandable and accountable. Transparency does not mean publishing raw internal material.
Publication gate
Before publishing, confirm that the material:
- distinguishes fact, interpretation, direction, and aspiration;
- names Rei or another evidenced owner/decider accurately;
- contains no credentials, tokens, private hostnames or addresses, machine paths, personal data, customer data, or unpublished repository details;
- contains no unsupported legal, security, privacy, performance, compliance, financial, or certification claim;
- preserves required third-party attribution and license notices;
- does not present an intended license as a current grant; any Katteke licensing change requires a recorded licensing and legal review, explicit approval, and an effective date;
- links to the canonical product page or decision instead of creating a competing truth;
- has an appropriate review trigger when facts can expire.
Rei reviews and approves public reports and durable company decisions.
Cadence
- Monthly: operating and technical outcomes, decisions, evidence, incidents, risks, and the next period’s focus.
- Quarterly: portfolio movement, strategic trade-offs, cross-product risk, and outcomes against the quarter’s goals.
- Annual: founder perspective, year-level evidence, durable lessons, and direction for the next year.
These are company and technical reports, not earnings reports or audited financial statements. Financial figures remain out until a reliable accounting and review process exists.
Inputs
Reports may be drafted from version history, worklogs, decisions, test results, releases, incidents, and operational measures. Raw conversations are never copied into public reports. Each claim must be edited, sanitized, and checked against its source evidence.
